George E. "Buff Chalfont, 62, of Prescott, Ariz., born Oct. 21, 1943, in Melrose Park, Ill., died Monday, Jan. 16,2006, in Prescott.

A celebration of George's life will take place at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 22, in the Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home. Private cremation will be at Bradshaw Crematory in Prescott Valley.

George Edward "Buff" Chalfont, age 62, died Monday, Jan. 16, 2006, in the Yavapai Regional Medical Center. George was born Oct. 21, 1943, the son of George William and Delores Chalfont in Melrose Park, Ill.

George married the former Kimeyjo Marshall on April 18, 1964.

He enjoyed fishing, sports, cooking, and animals and was most proud of his family. He worked as a salesman for York RV and was co-owner of KT's Home Furnishings inPrescott Valley, Ariz.

George is lovingly survived by his wife of 41 years, Kimeyjo; his grandchildren, Sean and Briana; a brother and his spouse, Ron and Leticia Chalfont of Tempe, Ariz. Also by his niece Amanda Winfrey and nephew Jarrod Winfrey, both of Prescott Valley; Ariz., brothers-in-law, Woody Marshall of Redding, Calif., and Kevin Marshall of Coolidge, Ariz.; sisters-in-law, Renia Marshall Thorpe of Apache Junction, Ariz., and Shawn Marshall Winfrey of Prescott Valley, Ariz.

George was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Jodi Lynn (Chalfont) Levisohn.

Celebration of George's Life will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, 2006, in the Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home.

The Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
