| The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 01/30/2007 On Dec. 25, 2006, Audrey Spevacek received the best Christmas gift. She was on her way to church to worship her Savior, instead He reached down and carried her to the choirs of heaven. Audrey was born July 14, 1945 in Port Washington, Wisc., to Oscar and Melita Bellin. She was baptized and clothed in Jesus' righteousness and rejoiced in His forgiveness every day of her life. She married Kirby Spevacek Aug. 26. 1967 and supported him in his missionary work across the world for the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. They served in Africa, Milwaukee, Cibecue, Russia, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, Albania, and Whiteriver. Just lately they lived in East Fork, where her husband teaches at the Apache Christian Training School. Audrey was employed by Burley Bear in Pinetop up until her death. Together they had one son and seven daughters. Audrey was preceded in death by her son, Brian; and father Oscar Bellin. She is survived by her mother, Melita; and four brothers; and one sister; her husband, Kirby; and their seven daughters, Cheryl Dazen of East Fork, Colleen Blakely of Avondale, Susan Glendee of Layton, Utah, Rachael Kosinski of Waukesha, Wisc., Anna Shultz of Mobridge, South Dakota, Tanya Busse of Milwaukee, Wisc., and Roxanne Spevacek of Avondale; and 17 grandchildren. The memorial service of Victory will be held at 2 p.m. Feb. 12 at Grace Lutheran Church, 5600 W. Palmaire Ave. in Glendale. (623) 937-2010.
