Eudora Carol (Tenney) Patterson

Eudora Tenney Patterson passed away on Aug. 6, 2008, at her home in Cottonwood. She was the wife of the late Mr. Richard A Patterson.

Mrs. Patterson is survived by a sister Pearl Romney of Prescott; and a brother Lyman Tenney of Prescott. Her children are Richard Patterson Jr., Vicki Jo Anderson, Mary Fullerton, Fred Patterson, Princess Zavala and Ted Patterson.

Mrs. Patterson was an active member of her community. As a teacher she was most concerned with quality education. She was active in bringing Cub Scouting to the Verde Valley in 1957 and was a recipient of the Silver Fawn Award, one of Scouting’s highest honors.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1377 Hombre Drive, Cottonwood, with a viewing one-hour before the funeral service. Interment will immediately follow the services at Cottonwood Cemetery.

Bueler Funeral Home assisted the family.
