Fidel M Padilla

PADILLA, Fidel M., 83, of Tucson, passed away April 25, 2006. He was born in Jalisco, Mexico on March 4, 1923, son of the late Fidel V. and Concepcion Martinez Padilla. Soon after birth his parents moved to Arizona. He was a copper miner and worked in the Hayden area prior to retirement. He is survived by his daughters, Rosalia P. (Antonio) Corona of Tucson, Gloria S. Padilla of Hanna City, IL and Helen A. Padilla of Casa Grande, AZ. He was the proud grandfather of Domingo, Santiago, Carolina, Danny, Fernando, Christina and Rosanne. He has six great-grandchildren. Mr. Padilla also leaves three sisters, Consuelo Velasco and Carmen Westrope, both of Tucson, Frances Aranda of Hayden and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service with military honors will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, at the Southern Arizona Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Sierra Vista. Friends may call 5:00 - 9:00 p.m., Thursday, April 27, 2006 at EVERGREEN MORTUARY. Arrangements by EVERGREEN MORTUARY & CEMETERY, N. Oracle & W. Miracle Mile.
