Harold Glen Thompson

COOLIDGE - Harold Glen Thompson, 72, of Coolidge died Jan. 16, 2007.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Monday at Simes Mortuaries Coolidge Chapel, with the funeral following at 10. Burial will be in Valley Memorial Park.

Mr. Thompson was born June 24, 1934 in Lanark, Ill., to Henry and Fern Thompson. He moved with his family to Arizona in 1946. He served in the Air Force in the Korean War, was a staff sergeant and medic and received several decorations. He also served in the Vietnam War before retiring as a technical sergeant in 1971. He worked for the Postal Service for 22 years before retiring in 1994. He enjoyed his bird dogs, fishing, horseshoes and shotgun sports.

Survivors include two daughters, Michelle Thompson and Jennifer Thompson-Abernathy of Coolidge; a brother, Johnny Thompson of Circle City, Ariz.; and one grandchild.
