Harry Richard Dixon died on Thursday, Aug. 21, 2008, in Prescott Valley, Ariz. Born on June 10, 1925, in Clarkburg, W.Va., he was the son of Harry R. and Gay (Roberts) Dixon. He was 83 years old.

Harry was a member of Open Door Baptist Church in Prescott Valley. He enjoyed sports and “critters.” He especially loved his dog, “Bear.”

Harry is survived by his loving wife, Helen; daughter Larae Hall of Kalispell, Mont.; son Craig Welch of Albany, Ore.; sisters,

Pat Sinsel of Belinton, W.Va., Nancy Russell of Scott Depot, W.Va .,
Eleanor DeCaire of Tampa, Fla., and Alice Aretz of Maryland; and numerous grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.

A private cremation will take place at Bradshaw Crematory in Prescott Valley.

Arizona Wakelin Bradshaw Chapel assisted the family with final arrangements.
