Laura Lisa Jimenez

BLYTHE, Calif. - Laura Lisa Jimenez, 46, died Nov. 19, 2006 in Blythe, Calif.

Services were held at Frye Chapel & Mortuary. Burial was at Palo Verde Cemetery in California on Nov. 25. The Rev. Sam Burton of Shiloh Agape Ministries was the officiant and the Rev. Richard Lee Jimenez of the Moriarty, N.M., Church of the Nazarene gave the eulogy.

Ms. Jimenez was born on Oct. 19, 1960 in Blythe to Ruben Lauro and Joy Lee Jimenez. She lived in Blythe for most of her life. She was a case manager at Ironwood State Prison for 12 years and had many friends. She had many interests that included crafts and scrapbooking.

Survivors include four children, Alexsia Lopez, David Lopez, Ruben Lopez and Dustin Lee of Blythe; her mother, of Florence; two sisters, Becki Guilin of Florence and Lindy Stewart of Blythe; and two brothers, Mike of Blythe and Richard Jimenez of Moriarty. She was preceded in death by her father, Ruben "Poyo" Jimenez.
