| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Tuesday, October 12, 2010 Janis Faye (Surratt) Shadwick Kemp, age 71, of Harrison, Ariz., passed away Oct. 10, 2010, at the Hospice House in Harrison. The daughter of Eugene Milton Surratt and Nellie Arietta (Bell) Surratt, she was born Nov. 30, 1938, in Blythe, Calif. Janis enjoyed gardening, dancing, bowling and fishing. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ronald Terry Kemp; and her brothers and sisters. Janis Kemp is survived by her sons, Mark Shadwick, of Arizona, and Mathew Shadwick, of Colorado; her daughter, Crystal Lowe, of Harrison; her grandchildren, Jeremiah Lowe, Kurtis Lowe and Samuel Lowe; and one great-grandchild, Teagen Lowe. Memorial service will be Oct. 29, at 11 a.m. at Grace Christian Center with Daniel Lowe officiating. Cremation and arrangements by Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison.
