Gloria Marlene Ross passed quietly into God’s hands at her home on Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008. Gloria was born and raised in San Francisco.

They retired to Palm Springs where they were active members of St. Theresa’s Church and together they ran the food bank, sometimes feeding up to 1,200 workers per week.

After they moved to Prescott in 2004, Ray and Gloria became active with the Sheriff’s Office Jeep Posse and then with Yavapai County Search Response Team. Gloria loved helping and volunteering.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Prescott. She will be remembered fondly and missed by all.

Gloria is survived by her beloved husband, Ray; daughters Ruth Marie and Marlene; and grandchildren Scott, Taylor and Elizabeth. She was preceded in death by their son, Timothy.
