Roland Cottingham

Roland Cottingham, 69, of Casa Grande died Jan. 17, 2007 at home.

A private service will be held in Minnesota.

Mr. Cottingham was born May 29, 1937 in Austin, Minn., and was a son of Chester and Olive Cottingham. He was a repair technician. He moved to Casa Grande from Mesa in 2002 and loved to tinker in the garage and work on his car and motorhome. His constant companion was his dog Zoey, and he spent much time with his grandson Tyler. He was devoted to his family.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Mary; two daughters, Sharie Boyd of Casa Grande and Renee Schlicting of Arizona City; three sons, Gary Culton of California, Terry Culton and Gregg Cottingham of Minnesota; two brothers, Robert Cottingham of Minnesota and Jerry Gave of Minnesota; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey, and a twin brother, Ronald, at age 6.
