Peter B. Monte, 73, of Phoenix, a retired carpet installer, died Dec. 25, 1999. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and was an Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Miriam; daughters, Celeste Skinner and Debbie; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services: Bethany Presbyterian Church, 7702 N. 35th Ave., Phoenix.
