Betty Lou Sharrah 1925 - 2010

Betty Lou Sharrah, 85 of Clarkdale, passed away on October 24, 2010. She was born on June 17, 1925 in Cedar City, Missouri to Leonadas and Nancy Waggoner.

She attended Jefferson City High. She worked in retail, but was a housewife most of her life. Back in her hay days, she won many Chitter Bug contests and was her kids PTA leader and her daughter’s Blue Bird, Brownie and Girl Scout leader.

She enjoyed cooking, family gatherings and dancing. She was just a good southern lady who loved to party.

Betty Lou is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, A.J. Sharrah. She is survived by son Leon Sharrah of Clarkdale; daughter Lynda Martin of Cottonwood; sister-in-law Evelyn Brohammer of Oxnard, CA; brother-in-law Delbert Sharrah of Santa Barbara, CA; 2 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
