J. Milton Bennick

J. Milton Bennick died Sunday, January 4, 2004 in Mesa at the age of 85. Mr. Bennick was born May 16, 1918 in Sheridan, Wyoming to the late J. Fred & Ella May (Krout) Bennick.

He was a WWII and Korean War Veteran serving in The U.S. Army-Air Corps and then worked more than 30 years for The Chandler Arizonan as a linotype operator.

Milton is survived by 2 sons: David Bennick, Larry Bennick; 8 daughters: Suella Chapman, Charlene Kagebein, Audrie Thompson, Karen Maresca, Joyce McCray, Debra Spooner, Maxine Howard, Lavonne Warren; sister, Mildred Bybee; brother, Glen Bennick; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary (Dalzell) Bennick, in February of 1982 and a daughter, Kay Bennick, in January of 1999.

Graveside services Friday, January 9, 2004 at The City of Mesa Cemetery, 1212 N. Center Street in Mesa, Arizona. Arrangements by Bueler Mortuary.
