| J. Milton Bennick died Sunday, January 4, 2004 in Mesa at the age of 85. Mr. Bennick was born May 16, 1918 in Sheridan, Wyoming to the late J. Fred & Ella May (Krout) Bennick. He was a WWII and Korean War Veteran serving in The U.S. Army-Air Corps and then worked more than 30 years for The Chandler Arizonan as a linotype operator. Milton is survived by 2 sons: David Bennick, Larry Bennick; 8 daughters: Suella Chapman, Charlene Kagebein, Audrie Thompson, Karen Maresca, Joyce McCray, Debra Spooner, Maxine Howard, Lavonne Warren; sister, Mildred Bybee; brother, Glen Bennick; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary (Dalzell) Bennick, in February of 1982 and a daughter, Kay Bennick, in January of 1999. Graveside services Friday, January 9, 2004 at The City of Mesa Cemetery, 1212 N. Center Street in Mesa, Arizona. Arrangements by Bueler Mortuary.
