The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona May 31, 2005 Helena Habib passed away on Friday, May 27, 2005. She was born in Charleston, West Virginia and moved to Arizona in 1950 with her family. She graduated from ASU with a Master's Degree in Education and an Education Specialist Master's Degree. Helena taught in the Madison School District for 33 years. She was a member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church. She is survived by her sisters Rosie, Sharon and Christine; nephews George and Stefanos; nieces Amy, Annie and Jennifer. Visitation at St. George's Orthodox Church, followed by Trisagon services. Funeral was at St. George Orthodox Church 4530 E. Gold Dust Ave., Interment at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery, handled by Hansen Mortuary. See Also: ASU Memoriams |
