Anthony Robert Ballew

Posted 2010-11-22 by Pat Wilson
Anthony Robert Ballew unexpectedly passed away from a stroke the night of July 17th, 2005, at the age of 53.

He was a family nurse practitioner who loved the art of healing and making people laugh. He was proud to own the East Valley Vaccination & Examination Center, fulfilling a lifelong dream of owning his own practice. Because he loved adventure, he was a volunteer on the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office Divers Posse and worked as a DUI phlebotomist for the Police Department.

As a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, he served in various callings of Bishop, Scoutmaster, High Councilman, Choir member, etc.

He leaves behind many who love him and who were touched by his unending acts of service. In particular, his son and daughter-in-law Chris and Danika Ballew; and his new grandson, Asher Steele; 3 other children, Tamara, Sean and Alexa; and his parents, Thomas Ballew and Susan Faulkner. We know Tony is at peace and he will be greatly missed.
