| Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, September 3, 2008 Jean Lindsay Flanigan died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008, at Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott, Ariz. She was born June 20, 1930, in Syracuse, N.Y., the daughter of Wilfred and Lillian (Lindsay) Weeks. Jean was 78 years old. Jean loved gardening and enjoyed bowling. She will be missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her children, William Dexter of Prescott Valley, Ariz., Charles Dexter of Syracuse, N.Y., Jean Dexter of Prescott, Susan Curran of Prescott Valley, and John Dexter of Prescott; and sisters Grace Day of Syracuse, N.Y., and Lillian Oenick of Manilus, N.Y. Jean is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A private cremation will take place at the Bradshaw Crematory in Prescott Valley. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Jean’s name to Hospice Family Care, 100 E. Sheldon St., Prescott, Az., 86301. Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family with final arrangements. Information provided by survivors. |
