William L. Pearson

Mr. Pearson “Hofbrau Haus Man”

Feb. 16, 1935, to Sept. 4, 2008

Loved by his children, he left the five of us to be with the only true love of his life, Marilyn Ann Pearson, after his 10-month battle of cancer.

Mom passed in 1972 from cancer also, and he decided to take us out of California to be back at his hometown here in Prescott.

He ran the Hofbrau Haus for years and also the Dinner Bell downtown. He served in the United States Marine Corps and was proud to serve our country. He also joined Youth With a Mission and traveled to different countries and here in the States to show his love for God. Our father was such a simple man and nothing was ever a big deal to him.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Dover and Katie Pearson; his oldest brother John “Dugan” Pearson; his sister Mina Puntenney; his youngest brother Ivan Pearson; his true love, our mother, Marilyn Ann Pearson; and his granddaughter, Jewls Marilyn Joshu. He is survived by his children Bill (Leslie) Pearson, Tammy (Wes) Joshu, Roger Pearson, Joyce (Pat) Vinett, and Paul (Chris) Pearson; and his grandchildren Bennett Pearson, Jarran, Jasmine and Jake Joshu, Kimmie (Dustin) DeJoseph, Kyle Pearson, Chrissy (Keith) Schwennesen, Matt Vinett, Melissa (Ryan) Walker, and Guy, Emma and Lacy Pearson. His great love to his great-grandchildren Dallas Walker, twins Ally and Emily Schwennesen, and Lexie, Balie, and Kylie DeJoseph.

Our father donated himself to Science Care.

Thank you to Yavapai Regional Hospice and all his friends who came to visit. Dad will catch you later! But for now we stay behind to raise this family you and mom started. Love you!
