SKORPICK, Helen "Della"

Helen "Della" Skorpick, died June 22, 2003. She was born in Tabor, South Dakota in 1916, and moved to Phoenix in the early 1920's. She graduated from Phoenix Union High School in 1935.

She worked for Sky Harbor Scenic Airways during WWII, Phoenix Title & Trust, Union Oil from 1946 until 1981 as secretary to Division Manager, A de A Women's Social Club in 1937, Northern Phoenix Republican Women's Club, she was a volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul for Transient Aid Conference for 15 years. She was preceded in death by her sister Alice 1928, brother Joe 1967, mother Mary, 1973, 93 years old, father Joseph, 1916.

Survived by niece Joan Simpson, Phoenix, AZ, great nephews Mark Campidonica, St. George, CA, Tony Campidonica, Redding, CA, great niece Lisa Campidonica, Reno, NV, great-great niece & nephew Ian Whitcher & Michelle Whitcher.

Visitation and Rosary at Whitney & Murphy Arcadia Chapel, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., Funeral Mass at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 5045 E. Thomas Rd. Interment St. Francis Cemetery. Published in the Arizona Republic on 6/27/2003.
