SANTA ROSA - Rita M. (Lopez) Antone, 85, died Jan. 21, 2007 at Archie Hendricks skilled nursing center.

The wake will begin at 3 p.m. Friday at the Antone home, with Mass celebrated at 5 p.m. by the Rev. Tom Frost. Burial will be in San Louis Cemetery at 7 a.m. Saturday.

Mrs. Antone was born Dec. 28, 1921 in Noipo-Kam Village to Pancho and Lisina Lopez. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Mission. She loved making baskets, singing traditional songs and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include two sons, Clyde Antone of Santan and Fernando Mandez of Eloy; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Williams Antone; three sons, Lucas Mandez, Dennis W. and Joseph Antone; and four daughters, Mary Louise Antone, Stella E. and Carmen Mandez and Irene Stevens.
