Karen Frances Parker, 44, of Casa Grande died Jan. 23, 2007 at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.

A private service is planned.

Ms. Parker was born May 20, 1962 in Manchester, N.H. She played basketball for Yavapai College and loved many outdoor activities. She was known for her ability to take care of children and animals and was devoted to her mother. She loved her dog, Colie. She was a graphics representative.

Survivors include her parents, Kenneth A. Parker Sr. of Mountain Home, Ark., and Norma M. Parker of Casa Grande; two brothers, Ken Parker of Stanfield and Brian Parker of Casa Grande; a sister, Cyndi Bisceglie of Stanfield; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Victor and Blanche Parker, Grattan and Frances Powell.
