Sara P. Salas, 90, of Casa Grande died Jan. 23, 2007 at home.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel. The funeral there will be at 1 p.m. Monday, with Pastor Florencio Hernandez officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mrs. Salas was born June 7, 1916 in Melvin, Texas. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed listening to the word of the Lord and Christian music. She collected likenesses of cardinal birds and enjoyed being with her family.

Survivors include five daughters, Mary M. Garcia of Amarillo, Texas, Adeline Valdez of Wagon Mound, N.M., Lydia Marinez of Chehalis, Wash., Anna Valero of Muleshoe, Texas, and Sarah Herrera of Casa Grande; a son, George Salas Jr. of Casa Grande; six sisters; 30 grandchildren; and several great- and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George F.; a daughter, Nelida Fabela; a son, Adrian Salas; and a granddaughter, JoAnn Rodriguez.
