Bohdan (Bob) M. Lys

Mr. Lys “Jack of all trades and master of All,” passed away doing what he loved best at the M.T. ranch on Sept. 11, 2008, at age 59. Cause of death was heart attack.

Born in Delle, France, on Jan. 22, 1949, Bob was raised on the lower east side of New York City.

At age 17, he left the Big Apple, heading west and made Dewey his homestead.

Bob led a simple life with a big heart. His family and many friends could always count on his good advice along with his helping hand. His sense of humor, love of music and the great outdoors are just a small part of the special person that he was. He will be missed by the many whose hearts he touched.

Preceded in death by his father, Wasyl, he is survived by his cherished mother, Catherine; life partner, Millie Coulter; devoted children, Damian and Katie, and daughter Tasha; his beloved grandchildren, Keana, Lucien, Jenna Joan, Sheree, Jasmine and Jordan; his adoring sister Stefany and caring brother Jerry.

A memorial service and celebration of Bob’s life will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, at Calvary Chapel, 7367 E. Highway 69 in Prescott Valley.
