Parker Pioneer, Parker, Arizona - Published Friday, August 20, 2010 - Richard Allen Bartle II Aug. 6, 1983 - July 28, 2010 In the early morning hours of July 28, 2010, we said good-bye to our beloved Richard, as the angels lifted him from this earth and ushered him through the gates of heaven into the arms of our Lord. We will miss him beyond measure, but our memories of him will remain in our hearts forever. Memories that now bring us tears will one day bring us smiles. We will love you always and forever. Richard moved to Parker with his grandparents in 1991 at the age of eight. He attended Wallace Elementary and Parker High and received his GED June 30, 2005. The BlueWater Resort & Casino from Feb. 13, 2001 to July 14, 2004 employed him. In January of 2005, he started to work for Siemens Water Technologies and was still employed there at the time of his death. Richard seemed destined to be a desert child, he loved going out exploring in the desert, mountain climbing and rock hunting. His love of sports took him in many directions; he competed in several Best in the Desert motocross races. He liked racing dirt bikes and quads; he loved to cliff dive, ski, and just play in the river with his daughter. He loved going to movies and playing his Xbox and when he got a chance he loved to play in poker tournaments at BlueWater Casino. Whatever it was he was doing, he was doing it to the fullest. Richard was diagnosed with kidney failure in 2009. In May 2010 he was approved for a kidney transplant from the Mayo Clinic transplant team. His cousin Michael Wyckoff said from day one that he would be a perfect match for him and he was. The surgery took place July 20, 2010 and was a complete success. Unfortunately, some unforeseen complications occurred which resulted in his passing. Richard is survived by daughter Isabella Duron, of San Francisco; grandparents, John and Linda Kelsey, Parker; mother, Tina Kelsey, Santa Ana, Calif.; father, Richard Bartle, Mesa, Ariz.; aunts and uncles, Benny and Laurie Alcaida; Christine Kaufman, Jeff Wyckoff, Chuck and Mary Kelsey, Jim Kelsey; cousins, Michael, Aaron, Luke, Alex, Joe, Britney, Matthew and to many more family members and friends. Kendra Baker, his very best friend and sidekick who has been there for him, through it all, also survives him. You are the best and we love you. May God Bless You for all you have done. Memorial services will be held at Parker Funeral Home, Saturday, Aug. 21, from 2 t 4 p.m. |
