Funeral services for Charles B. Woodson, 83, who died Sunday, July 2, 1961 at his home at 5312 East Cambridge, in Phoenix, Ariz., were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 5, and burial was at Green Acres Memorial Gardens at Scottsdale, Arizona.

The Rev. John Adair who officiated was assisted by Jerry Kingery. Pallbearers were Bud Kingery, Larry Kingery, Jerry Kingery, Roland Abbott, DeWayne Payne and William S. Stinger.

Mr. Woodson, a retired farmer, was a native of Iowa. He went to Los Angeles, Calif. in 1953, where he made his home with a step-son, Hugo E. Carter, until he moved to Phoenix, Arizona nine months ago to live with his other step-son, Marion A. Carter.

He is surviced by his wife Mabel; a brother Roy of Route 1 Fontanelle; two step-sons Marion A. Carter of Phoenix and Hugo E. Cater of California; three step-grandchildren Mrs. Janet Vaeth of Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Mary Lee Johnson of Waterloo, Iowa, and Rex Carter of California and 10 great-grandchildren.
