| The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ April 17, 2008 William "Bill" Louis Gruetzemacher III died Monday, April 14, 2008. He was born Jan. 7, 1935, in E. St. Louis, Ill. Bill lived his last eight years in the Heber/Overgaard area and loved it. He was a proud member of the American Legion SAL and the Fraternal-order of the Eagles. Bill had a wonderful life filled with love for his family. He was a husband, a dad, a fisherman, a boater, a coach and a great man. He is survived by his daughters, Sally (Doug) Harkins and Suzy (Mike) Lee; brother Jerry Gruetzemacher; five grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews, all whom loved him very much. A memorial service in his honor will be held Saturday, April 19, at 2 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 7145 E. Monterey Ave. in Mesa.
