Ronald Alfred LaRue
Oct. 24, 1937-Dec. 12, 2007

On Wednesday in the comfort of his home and with his family at his side Ron LaRue lost his hard fought battle with cancer and left this world. Ron was born Oct. 24, 1937, to Wilda and Lash LaRue in San Francisco, Calif.

Ron and his loving wife, Patti, made Lake Havasu City their permanent home in 1994. Ron was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in 1966; retired from Anheuser Busch in 1994 and upon moving to Lake Havasu pursued a career in real estate.

He was a past master of the San Fernando Masonic Lodge and member of the Woodland Hills Shrine Club. He enjoyed water skiing, house boating, flying and in the most recent years, competitive shooting. He was on the board of directors for the Lake Havasu Sportsman's Club and a Range Master; but he enjoyed his time with his family the most.

He is survived by his wife, Patty; son, Ronald R. LaRue, of Calif.; daughter, Debbie (Ken) Mitchell, of Lake Havasu City; brothers, Patrick (Terri) LaRue, of California, and Kim LaRue, of California; sister, Vicki Payne, of Georgia and grandchildren, RJ & Jessica Sossaman, Kenny & Sara Mitchell and Katrina Mitchell.

Services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m., at Calvary Baptist Church in Lake Havasu City. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.

Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com.

Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
