Zelma (Robertson) DeMoss De Valk

Zelma DeMoss De Valk, nee Robertson, born Feb. 16, 1910, was taken home by her Lord and savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008.

Zelma was born at home in Fork, Md., and married Henry De Valk in 1929. They had two sons, John who became a Navy aviator and died when his plane crashed in 1953, and David, who has remained her guardian after the death of his father in 1976. Zelma is survived by her son, daughter-in-law, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Zelma moved to Prescott in 1997 and was blessed by the fellowship of many Christian friends in the area.

A service of celebration to honor her memory will be 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008, at the Prescott Senior Center.
