GARY ALLEN STALCUP, Camp Verde, Ariz.

Services for Gary Allen Stalcup, 45, who died at the Marcus J. Lawrence Hospital in Cottonwood, Ariz., on Jan. 8, 1986, were held Saturday, Jan. 18 at the Kale Funeral Home in Osceola with the Rev. George Thurman officiating. The American Legion post of Winterset conducted military services at the Lorimor Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife Judy; sons, Jeffrey and wife Pam, and James, both of Camp Verde; a daughter, Kimberley and husband Billy Hamm II of Camp Pendleton, Caif.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Stalcup of Lorimor; a sister, Barbara Moore of Winterset; brothers, Robert of Bagdad, Ariz., and Donald of Salt Lake City, Utah; and a granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

GARY ALLEN STALCUP, CAMP VERDE, ARIZ.

Services for Gary Allen Stalcup, 45, Camp Verde, Ariz., who died Jan. 8 at Marcus Jo Lawrence Hospital at Cottonwood, Ariz., were held Saturday, Jan. 13 at the Kale Funeral Home in Osceola with the Rev. George Thurman officiating. Burial was at the Lorimor Cemetery.

Born in Winterset on Nov. 20, 1945, he was the son of Harold and Mary Boughton Stalcup. He graduated from Thayer High School in 1959 and was married to Judith Kerns in Lorimor on April 4, 1962.

He served four years in the Navy, and worked for 23 years as a miner and buyer in a copper mine. For the past several years, he had worked at a race horse breeding ranch. He was an active member of the Yavapai County Sheriff’s posse and was a member of the Hilltop Community Methodist Church of Bagdad, Ariz.

Survivors include his parents of Lorimor; sons, Jeff and James, both of Camp Verde; and a daughter, Kim of Camp Verde; a sister, Barbara Moore of Winterset; and brothers, Robert of Bagdad and Donald of Salt Lake City, Utah.
