Arlene Ruth Crumley, 55, of Prescott, Ariz., born Nov. 4, 1952, in Hackensack, N.J., passed away Oct. 1, 2008, at her home in Prescott, Ariz.

Private memorial service will take place at the family’s home.

Arlene passed away gracefully after a long battle with breast cancer the night of Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at her home surrounded by her family and friends. She was born November 4, 1952 to Frederick & Dorothy Platt in Hackensack, New Jersey. Arlene married her soul mate Steven on November 12, 1983 they shared 24 joyous years together. She lived in Arizona for about 30 years and in Yavapai County since 1992, previously in the state of New Jersey. She worked as a school teacher and was very proud to have taught the youth of today molding them into young responsible adults. Arlene enjoyed camping, kids, and bmx bike racing with her son Andrew.

She was most proud of her family, sisters and the close friendships make throughout her life, Arlene will be greatly missed.....

Arlene Ruth Crumley is survived by husband; Steven Crumley of Prescott, Az.,- son's Thomas & Andrew Crumley of Prescott Valley, Az., - parents; Frederick & Dorothy Platt of Scottsdale, Az., - sister's; Susan Smith of Ralley, North Carolina; Lenore Lancaster of Scottsdale, Az.
