Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, October 4, 2008 Gladys E. Woodhurst passed away on Oct. 2, 2008, at the Margaret T. Morris Care Home in Prescott, Ariz. She was 89 years old. Gladys was born April 22, 1919, in Craig, Colo., the daughter of Earl and Louise (Harms) Marsden. She married her sweetheart Robert Keith Woodhurst on May 10, 1941. He has preceded her in death. She lived in Yavapai County since 1999 and previously in California. Gladys worked as a telephone switchboard operator for Marin County, Calif., and was a member of pioneer families who lived in Colorado, Utah, Nevada and California. She leaves behind her loving and caring daughter Barbara J. Blackie of Prescott; granddaughter Brittany Jill Blackie of Los Angeles, Calif.; sister Marjorie Hatton of Spring Valley, Calif.; and sister-in-law Josephine Marsden of Dallas, Texas. Private family service to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Margaret T. Morris, 878 Sunset Ave., Prescott, AZ 86305.
