Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, October 11, 2008 Norman F. Brown, 86, loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother passed away Monday, Oct. 6, 2008 in his home in Prescott Valley, Ariz., with his family and companion Flora Clemit at his side. Norman was born Dec. 22, 1921 in Amesbury, Mass. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII as a 2nd Lieutenant Navigation, Flight Officer. Norman and his wife Lillian moved to California from Massachusetts with their family in 1955. Norman and Lillian relocated to Prescott Valley in 1985. Lillian passed away in October 2001. He is survived by his daughters, Norma (Ken) Rily, Sharon (Butch Severloh) Brown, Susan Brown, Carol (Doug) Spruance and Debbie (Jerry) Darien; brother Ted Brown of Prescott Valley; sister Edith White of Amesbury, Mass.; and companion Flora Clemit of Prescott Valley; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008 at the Sunrise Funeral Home in Prescott Valley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Norman's name to the Granite Mountain Home Care and Hospice in Prescott Arizona. |
