| Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, October 07, 2008 Jacqueline E. (Brisbin) Ryu, 58, of Dewey, Ariz., died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008, in Coralville, Iowa. Memorial services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008, at the Newman Center, 104 E. Jefferson, Iowa City. A reception will follow immediately after the service at the Newman Center. There will be a gathering from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10, 2008, at Lensing Oak Hill Funeral Home, 210 Holiday Road. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 Fleury Ave., Prescott, AZ 86301. Jacqueline was born on March 23, 1950, in Schenectady, N.Y., to Phillip and Julia (Pasqua) Brisbin. She married Jai Hyun Ryu on June 16, 1973, in New York. Jacqueline received her PhD in Public Health from the University of Iowa in 1979. Jacqueline is survived by her three children, Juliette Navarrete-Ryu (Max) of Ann Arbor, Mich., Jessica Mulder (Sean) of Columbia, Md., and Jennifer Goodale (Jason) of Washington, D.C.; and four siblings, Janet Pandori (Robert) of Manlius, N.Y., Jamie Brisbin (Laurie) of Delanson, N.Y., Johnny Brisbin of Manchester, N.H., and Cathy Brisbin of Miami, Fla. Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Information provided by survivors. |
