Fred H. Gardner

Memorial services were conducted at the Wickenburg Funeral Home for Fred H. Gardner, 85, who died April 17 at his Wickenburg home following a long illness. Burial was in the Wickenburg Cemetery.

Mr. Gardner was born May 11, 1903 in Eureka, Utah and lived for many years in Medford, Ore, where he operated a machine shop.

He retired to Wickenburg in 1957, with his wife, LaVesta, who survives him.

Both were active member of the Wickenburg Art Club, and own the Gardner Gallery on the Phoenix Highway.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Fred M. of Portland, Ore., and Jack A. of Lancaster, Calif.; a brother, Albert and a sister, Margarite, both of Oregon; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
