| Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, October 18, 2008 Our beloved father and grandfather, Frederick Clark Wetlaufer, died Oct. 17, 2008, in Prescott, Ariz. Fred was born Sept. 16, 1918, in Oelwein, Iowa. He is preceded in death by his parents, Florence and Herbert Wetlaufer; two brothers, Gerald and Don Wetlaufer; and sister Maude Palmer. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Jean Wetlaufer; sons Mark Wetlaufer of Prescott and Freddie Wetlaufer and wife Mary of Prescott Valley, Ariz; granddaughter Jill Strasner and husband Craig and great-grandchildren Jade and Chaz Strasner of Midland, Texas; grandson Charles Wetlaufer of Phoenix, Ariz.; brother Roger Wetlaufer and wife Esther of Tucson, Ariz.; and sister Mary Freeman and husband Mike of Park Rapids, Minn. There will be a private family memorial service held. Hampton Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements. Information provided by survivors. |
