| Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, October 23, 2008 Sharlene Fowler, 72, of Greenwood, Ind., died Oct. 21, 2008. Mrs. Fowler was born Sept. 8, 1936, in San Francisco, Calif., to the late Frederick and Lillian (Hardin) Hunt. Mrs. Fowler was the operations officer for Union Bank of California for many years, retiring in 1991. She was an avid reader and supporter of literacy. Mrs. Fowler was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Fowler; son Jeffrey Yancey; and grandson Ryan Yancey. Survivors include her son Steven S. Yancey of Jacksonville, Ore.; daughter Linda S. Trevino of Greensboro, N.C.; and grandchildren Corrine Yancey, Alex Yancey, Trent Trevino, Alex Trevino and Garrett Trevino. The memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, in Mt. Auburn United Methodist Church, 3100 W. Stones Crossing, Greenwood, Ind. Memorial contributions may be made to your local library or favorite literacy organization. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel, Mooresville, Ind. Information provided by survivors. |
