| Wickenburg (AZ) Sun October 15, 2008, pg B-10 Joyce Dunkel, age 71, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away on Oct 10 in Sun City West. Graveside services were held on Tuesday (Oct 14) at 10am at the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery. Visitation was held on Sunday from 1 to 3pm at Wickenburg Funeral Home. Joyce was born in Chickasha, Okla., to Maynard Duncan and Essie Goodyear Duncan. She came to Arizona as a child with the family, settling in Buckeye. Joyce married Ben Dunkel, and they made their home in Buckeye later moving to Payson for a brief time, and settling in Wickenburg in the early 1980's. She was a homemaker and worked in the family business, Dunkel Electric, with her husband Ben for years. Joyce is survived by her husband Ben of Wickenburg; sons and daughters-in-law Ken and Ann Craig of Buckeye; Randall Scott and Kristi Dunkel of Mesa, Ariz; Roger Dale and Diane Dunkel of Phoenix; Justin Miles "Corky" and Marie Dunkel of Wickenburg; daughters and sons-in-law Cheri Jo and Craig Stevens of Chambersburg, Pa.; and Chelli Sue and Sam Robinson of Goodyear; brothers Bob Duncan and wife Wanda of Buckeye and Jerry Duncan of Tonopaugh; 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by parents Maynard and Essie Duncan, brothers Edward and Joe Duncan, sister Mary Workman and grandchildren Brandy and Cassie Dunkel.
