Irene L. Wingfield, 96, of Buckeye, died on March 26, 2008 at Good Shepherd Retirement Home. She was born on February 15, 1912 in Topeka, Kansas and moved to Arizona in 1922.

Irene was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Joan LeRoy; 3 sons, Claude R., Gary, and Patrick Wingfield; many grandchildren; many, many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude P. Wingfield, daughter, Phyllis Brown; sons, Phillip, Jack, John, and Jerry Wingfield.

A visitation will be held from 10 am to 11 am on April 1st at the LDS Church in Buckeye. Service will be at 11am. Interment will be held at 12pm on April 2nd at Clear Creek Cemetery in Camp Verde, AZ.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent in Irene's name to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave. Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601-7633; 1-800-272-3900. Thompson's Valley West Funeral Chapel in Goodyear made the arrangements.
