| The Daily Miner, Kingman, Arizona - Published on Sunday, january 30, 2011 - Mrs. Hazel Cornelia Cornett of Kingman fell asleep in Jesus Christ on Monday, Jan. 24, 2011. She had been a resident of Riverside, Calif., before moving to Kingman five and a half years ago. Mrs. Cornett was born in Colorado Springs, Colo., on Aug. 14, 1920. She graduated from Riverside City College in Riverside, Calif., and was a diligent worker for over 65 years. She married Arley Max Cornett on June 15, 1942, and enjoyed their life together until his death on June 5, 1980. Hazel is survived by her daughter, Pamela and son-in-law Randy Fjeld also of Kingman. One sister, Alice Ricker of Moreno Valley, Calif., and a brother, Frank Lovan of Riverside also survive her. Hazel was an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Her funeral service will be at 2 p.m. with viewing at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 1, at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home, 1701 Sycamore Ave. Interment will be with her husband at the Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, Calif.
