Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, October 29, 2008 Dr. Charles Chester Gullett passed away on Oct. 28, 2008 at Hospice Family Care in Prescott, Ariz. He was 87 years old. He is the son of Ira Preston and Myrtle G. (Fulks) Gullett born on Aug. 15, 1921 in Eaton, Ohio. Charles married his sweetheart Adamae (Livengood) Gullett on Nov. 19, 1942. He proudly served his country as a Pershing Rifleman in the U.S. Army and in the U.S. Air Force as a Medical Doctor, and later as Worldwide Medical Director for Trans World Airlines He enjoyed playing golf, driving race cars, and art from which he created his own paintings and sculptures. Charles was proudest of his career with TWA Airlines. He is survived by his loving wife Adamae Gullett of Prescott, Ariz.; children and spouses, Charly and Amy Gullett of Prescott, Ariz.; Edwin P. and Patsy A. Gullett of Fayetteville, Ga.; grandchildren, Terra, Elizabeth and Sadie; great grandchildren, Madison, Sam, Sophie and Jacob. A memorial to Dr. Gullett will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008 in the Las Fuentes Retirement Community, 1035 Scott Drive in Prescott. Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. Information provided by survivors. |
