| Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, October 28, 2008 Charles Jay Collins, age 68, passed away Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008, in Prescott, Ariz. He was born to Jay and Lena Collins Oct. 29, 1939, in Kent City, Mich. Charles is survived by his wife of 26 years, Barbara Collins-Baron (née Rooker); his children, Michael and Michelle Collins, both of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Ron and Todd Ridgway, Donna Mosier and Chris Uildriks, all of Holland, Mich.; and his sister, Bonnie Singleton of Tomball, Texas. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 31, 2008, at The American Legion Post 40 in Chino Valley, Ariz. Interment will take place in Michigan at a later date. Heritage Memory Mortuary assisted the family with final arrangements. Information provided by survivors. |
