| The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, AZ August 16, 2006 William Ray Allen, 74, of Mayer, died Aug. 11, 2006, in Phoenix. He was born Jan. 4, 1932, in Cottonwood. Mr. Allen served in the U.S. Air Force and worked in the trucking industry. He is survived by his wife Ruth; sons, Rick, Park, Jimmy and Mike; a daughter, Kelly; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Shadow Mountain Mortuary. |
