Mrs. Thais O. King, 82, who was born at St. Johns, Arizona and lived in Phoenix, died on Wednesday, February 4, 2004 at Phoenix Baptist Hospital.

Thais lived in Paradise Valley for the last 27 years and previously in North Central Phoenix.

Her husband, James, passed away in 1982.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had served 3 missions for the Church in New Zealand, Australia and the Family History Center in Mesa as well as various local church callings.

Survivors include three sons, Leslie, James, and Lynn; a sister, Marcia; a brother, Norman; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Friends may visit at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary, 6500 E. Bell Rd, Scottsdale. Funeral services were at Paradise Valley Stake Center, 3601 East Shea Boulevard, Phoenix.

Interment at Mesa City Cemetery following the service.
