Joseph John Malinowski, 54, of Scottsdale, Ariz., died Saturday, April 6, 2002 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Phoenix, Ariz. Joseph John Malinowski, 54, of Scottsdale, Ariz., died Saturday, April 6, 2002 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Phoenix, Ariz. He had been in failing health. Prior to moving to Arizona four years ago, he resided in Doylestown and the North Penn area.

Born in Conshohocken, he was a son of the late Zigmond and Stella (Demko) Malinowski. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served in Germany during the Vietnam era.

He worked as a carpenter and in maintenance for the Central Bucks School District.

Mr. Malinowski was Catholic.

His hobbies included fishing and gardening.

He is survived by three daughters, Stephanie Malinowski Brown and her
husband, Kenneth, of Scottsdale, Theresa Malinowski of Phoenix and Aimee Malinowski of Lansdale; a son, Matthew J. Malinowski and his wife, Jessica Vaughan, of Tucson, Ariz.; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Malinowski.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass, Thursday, April 11 at 10:30 A.M. in St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, Derstine and Cowpath Roads, Hatfield, where the family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. Interment will be in George Washington Memorial Park.

Arrangements are by the Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home in Lansdale.
