Pearl Viola (Satathite) Ethridge

Pearl Ethridge, Arizona native and longtime Prescott resident entered into rest on Jan. 5, at Santa Fe House, in Prescott Valley, Ariz.

Pearl was born on Feb. 18, 1912, on a ranch near present day Glendale,
Arizona, to Will and Lilly (Welty) Satathite. She was very proud to
be a "Territorial Native."

Pearl worked in the County Recorders office in Prescott for many years, retiring after reaching the age of 65. She was a member of Golden Rule, Chapter #1, OES of Prescott. Pearl was the only living person to be inducted into the Rose Garden at the Sharlot Hall Museum. She was very
pleased with this special recognition.

Pearl was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Marion, Jim, and Clayton Satathite; her husband, Frank Ethridge; and a stepson, John Ethridge.

Pearl is survived by her son, Bill (JoAnn) Satathite of Palo Cedro, Calif.; two grandchildren, Will Satathite, of Chubbuck, Idaho, and Becky (Greg) Tyier of Palo Cedro, Calif.; five great-grandchildren, Amy, Willam, and Stuart Satathite, Jessica and Scott Tyier; step-grandchildren, Sue, Gail, Lance, Diane, Maggie, Frank, and John. Pearl is also survived by several step great-grandchildren.

The family especially wishes to thank Pearl's caregivers, Mark and Barbara Niemeyer, owners of Santa Fe House in Prescott Valley, for their excellent care over the last three years.

Services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 10 at 1 p.m. at Hampton Funeral Home, 240 S. Cortez St., in Prescott.

Graveside services will be held following the service, at Heritage Memorial Park Cemetery in Dewey.

The Hampton Funeral Home was entrusted withthe arrangements.
