| Des Moines Register, Des Moines, Iowa February 28, 2007 RICHARD HAINES, Winterset Richard Haines, 47, originally from Marcus, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2007, from complications following an accident. Richard was a 1979 graduate of Marcus Community High School and was a driver for Priority Express of Des Moines. He was preceded in death by his father, Don E. Haines, his brother Bob, a sister, Janice, and his wonderful dog, Blondie. Surviving family members are his mother, Mary Jane Haines of Marcus, his brother David of Winterset, sisters Mary Jones of Chandler, Arizona, Jean Kaplan of Scottsdale, Arizona, Joanne Konz of West Des Moines, and an adoring bunch of nieces and nephews. Richard was a ray of sunshine for all of us and now shines even brighter from heaven. At his request, Richard is being cremated and a family service will be held at a later date. |
