| The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ November 9, 1994, p. 2 Edna M. Lord of Wickenburg died November 5 in Wickenburg. She was 85. Ms. Lord was born March 2, 1909 in Darlington, Wisconsin. She had lived in Arizona for the past 27 years. Ms. Lord moved to Michigan at age 2 with her parents, and came to Arizona in 1967 from Dansville, Illinois. While in Michigan, Ms. Lord worked at Continental in Muskegon as an assembly line worker, making pistons. After moving to Arizona, she did volunteer work at the Wise Owl senior center and Desert Caballeros Western Museum. Brothers Donald and Melvin Lord, and a sister, Erma Fender, survive her and also numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Kenneth, Bill, Harold and Ovia Lord. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 16 at Brown’s Wickenburg Funeral Home. Pastor Robert Goldenberg will officiate. Brown’s Wickenburg Funeral Home handled all arrangements. |
