Rites Monday for James Thompson

James Alton Thompson, a resident of near Morristown, died at his home last Saturday morning after an extended illness.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Wickenburg Chapel, conducted by Rev. Bert Follmer of , Phoenix with burial following in the Wickenburg Cemetery.

Mr. Thompson was employed by the Wickenburg Lumber Co. for 10 years prior to becoming ill. He was born September 16, 1904, in Latty, Ohio, and moved to Arizona and the Morristown area in 1946.

Surviving are the widow, Violet, and one daughter, Mrs. Diane Waters of Morristown. Two surviving sisters are Mrs. Marie Mossoney of Paulding, Ohio, and Mrs. Ediva Van Horn of Toledo, Ohio. Also two grandchildren, Cherry and Justin Waters of Morristown.
