B-12 Funeral services for Annie Passey, age 81, were held on Monday (Sept. 15) at 11 a.m. at Wickenburg Funeral Home with interment following at the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery. Annie was born June 22, 1927 in Wickenburg to Milan and Anica Kerkes. She was raised in Wickenburg and attended schools locally, later graduating from Phoenix Union High School. She married James Passey in 1946 and they made their home in Salome, shortly thereafter moving to Prescott, and in 1955 they moved to Phoenix where they lived until 1988 when they retired and moved to northern Arizona, settling in Heber. They eventually moved back to Phoenix and continued to spend the summers in northern Arizona. She was preceded in death by her husband James on March 7, 2001. Annie is survived by daughters Pam Yeats and Patrice Blaich both of Waddell, and Robin Willis (Craig) of Las Vegas; grandchildren Kelly Yeats of Phoenix; Andrew Yeats (Suzie) of Williamsburg, Va.; Jill Quinonez (David) of Waddell, Ariz.; Michael Blaich (Janice) of Wisconsin; and Jimmy Passey of Phoenix; seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
