Hank Brumm Summoned -
Funeral Will Be Saturday Afternoon For Widely Known Local Resident

Military funeral services will be held at 2:30 p. m. Saturday George Henry (Hank) Brumm, who passed away at Community Hospital in Wickenburg last Sunday afternoon following an extended Illness. Dr. Charles S. Poling will officiate and the services will be in charge of the American Legion.

Burial will take place in the Wickenburg Cemetery.

A resident of the Wickenburg area since 1933, Mr. Brumm was widely known here. He was the owner and operator of Hank’s Place, five miles southeast on the Phoenix highway.

Injured in War -

He was born January 21, 1890, near Bolivar, MO., and grew up there. He served in an infantry division in World War I and saw service overseas where he was severely gassed. He never recovered from these injuries.

The Surviviors -

Surviving are the widow, the former Elsie Nora Yates of Broadwater, Nebr.: one daughter and three sons. They are Mrs. Elsie Ann Verzani of Whitney, Nev.; Raymond M. of Hanford, Calif.; Omar L. at home and Pfc. Donald H., who is with the Army Air Force and stationed in the Hawaiian Islands. The latter was notified of his father’s death and it was believed he may be able to come here in time for the funeral. Five grandchildren also survive.
