Carl Lavier Taylor, 66, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2003 in Las Vegas. He was born and raised in Mesa, AZ. He lived there until the age of 47. He served faithfully in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a Missionary, Branch President and Bishop. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alma & Florabel Taylor and brothers Alma Jr., Darrell and Dean. He is survived by wife, Sandra Taylor; sons, Michael (Laura) Taylor, Jeffory (Staci) Taylor, Kevin (Amy) Taylor, Alan (Natalie) Taylor, Benjamin (Audrey) Taylor, David W. Taylor; daughters, Robyn K. Taylor, LeaAnn (Kyle) Custer, Kymber (Christian) Foster, Larae (Dustin) Merritt and Alissa (Darrell) Wiser; brothers, Eugene, Robert, Don and Glenn; sister, Ellen; and 22 grandchildren. Visitation was held at Lehi Ward Chapel, 830 E. Lehi Rd., Mesa, AZ. Graveside services were held at City of Mesa Cemetery, 1212 N. Center St., Mesa, AZ.
